Transforming Water to Fuel To Run Your Car - An Introduction
When you read the paper and watch TV news, you might conclude that the energy crisis can only be solved by big auto or big oil.
With a little more digging or research and you will soon uncover fascinating inventions already being used that
also utilize hydrogen as motor fuel. These inventions are not as well known but exist in the world of obscure research and development firms and,
in some cases, lonely inventors.
The one thing that many of these non-mainstream technologies share is that the hydrogen as motor vehicle fuel is
produced as needed, or what many call “on-demand”.
The energy is produced from a device fastened in the automobile that produces hydrogen as it is used eliminating
volatile containers of hydrogen. The fuel for creating the hydrogen is H2O, good old water for fuel.
You may have noticed that this eliminates the two primary problems of the prevailing R&D.
When hydrogen is generated as needed there are no expensive containers of pressurized hydrogen. The only thing
you add to a vehicle is a booster that creates the hydrogen fuel from water and feeds fuel to the engine’s fuel injection system.
Secondly, the energy to make energy is very, very cheap and environmentally friendly. It is an on board system
that uses H2O. Water, of course, is everywhere And the electric power is produced by the electrical system. Hydrogen is totally non-polluting by
combining with oxygen to create water vapor.
